Hurdle provides access to an array of culturally intentional care and resources.

Hurdle shares Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota’s (Blue Cross) commitment to health equity. Like Hurdle, Blue Cross is committed to racial and health equity and to ensuring the services it offers make a meaningful impact on racial and social justice.

If you are a resident of Brooklyn Center, do not have insurance, and otherwise cannot afford therapy, your therapy costs will be covered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota.

We are invested in the health and wellness of the people of Brooklyn Community Center and its first responders. With Hurdle, we place culture and life experiences at the center of therapy and meet you where you are by offering a range of care options.

Register for therapy to begin your wellness journey or email to find out more about how Hurdle will work with you. We are pleased to offer teletherapy sessions to all individuals in Brooklyn Community Center, through our joint partnership.

Culturally Intentional Teletherapy

  • At Hurdle, we put culture first. That means our therapists have the ability to understand your story, your needs.

  • We know how challenging the responsibilities of day-to-day life can be. Stress can take a serious toll on your mind and body.

  • Moreso, we understand how racial and cultural injustices – from microaggressions in the workplace to racial traumas – can punctuate the burden of maintaining your wellness.
